Experiential Recognition Program

What is experiential learning?

Experiential learning occurs through a variety of activities, including:

  • Internships
  • Service learning
  • Undergraduate research
  • Leadership
  • Co-op
  • Field work
  • Projects
  • Fellowship
  • Clinical experience
  • Practicum

The Experiential Recognition Program (ERP) is a virtual course that facilitates eligible FSU degree-seeing students the opportunity to earn transcript notation for engaging in experiential learning opportunities. ERP is a non-credit (-0-) bearing course. However, FSU students must register for the ERP course during open registration windows and the ERP course is graded on the S/U system through Blackboard.

The Experiential Certificate Program (ECP) allows all FSU degree-seeking students the opportunity to earn recognition for engaging in experiential learning opportunities. Students must enroll in ECP, although the course is not graded. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for their experience.
