New criminology students – join us for New Student Convocation | Aug. 25

Are you a new Criminology student? Join us and the entire University for New Student Convocation where we can officially welcome you into our intellectual community.

New Student Convocation will take place this Sunday, Aug. 25 at 1:30 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

President John Thrasher will preside over the ceremony and Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Sally McRorie will encourage you to take full advantage of the academic opportunities available.

Immediately following the ceremony, new students are invited to join President John Thrasher and First Lady Jean Thrasher for a reception featuring Seminole spirit and entertainment.

At the reception, be sure to stop by the College of Criminology & Criminal Justice table and say hello to Dr. Patricia Warren, Professor and Director, Undergraduate Program, as well as Dr. Eric Stewart, Ronald L. Simons Professor of Criminology.
