One Year Master’s in Criminology to Begin This Fall

The College of Criminology & Criminal Justice now offers a One Year Master of Science Degree in Criminology.  This new program, designed for students who wish to aspire to leadership or advanced positions, will be available for students starting this fall.  The one year master’s program begins with classes in the fall semester and concludes with an internship (graduate field practice) in the summer semester – taking students literally from classroom to career in only one year.

Examples of agencies where students complete their graduate field practice include: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, The Institute for Intergovernmental Research, The United States Senate, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Internship work is focused in areas such as data research, intelligence analysis, policy analysis, emergency management, etc.
