Dr. Stewart Named ASC Fellow

The College is pleased to announce that Dr. Eric Stewart, Ronald L. Simons Professor of Criminology has just been named a Fellow of the American Society of Criminology (ASC).

This prestigious status recognizes those who have made a scholarly contribution to the intellectual life of the discipline, whether in the form of a singular, major piece of scholarship or cumulative scholarly contributions. Additionally, this status acknowledges those who have made a significant contribution to the field through the career development of other criminologists and/or through organizational activities within the ASC.

Dr. Stewart was honored with this award for his collective body of scholarly work and his service to the association including his term as vice president among other activities.

Dr. Stewart will be honored in Philadelphia during the 2017 ASC Annual Meeting Awards Plenary on November 15.

The College wishes to congratulate Dr. Stewart on this well deserved distinction along with his outstanding work in the discipline and within ASC.
