The College of Criminology and Criminal Justice applauds Jorge Hernández on being recognized by Latina/o/x Criminology (LC) as their featured Latina/o/x scholar for April 2022. Jorge's research focuses on immigration and life-course criminology and his research has appeared in the Journal of Family Violence and the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency. He has also taught courses at Florida State University and was awarded with the Joseph R Harris Endowed Memorial Fund in Criminology Teaching Award for outstanding performance as a graduate student instructor.
