Criminology in Context: A Female Perspective of the Criminal Justice System Panel Discussion, Friday, April 8th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Broad Auditorium

The Criminology Graduate Student Association and Alumni & Friends of Criminology have partnered together to present an alumni speaker series; Criminology in Context. The purpose of the alumni speaker series is to provide a platform where accomplished alumni and friends of the College can impart practical knowledge and experiences from their respective criminology-related professions in order to connect the concepts learned in the classroom with current issues in the field.

The first event in the Criminology in Context series is entitled “A Female Perspective of the Criminal Justice System” and features a panel discussion with the following:

Electra Bustle, Attorney, Southern Strategy Group, Former Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel, Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Former Assistant Commissioner, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Former General Counsel Florida Sheriffs Association.

Melanie Hines, Attorney, Berger Singerman, Former Statewide Prosecutor & Assistant Statewide Prosecutor, State of Florida Office of Statewide Prosecution, Adjunct Professor Florida State University College of Law.

The panel discussion will take place on Friday, April 8th from 2-4 p.m. in Broad Auditorium, Pepper Center.
