Dr. R.V. Gundar presents Interviewing: Tips and Tricks of the Trade

The Graduate-Faculty Workshop Series continues Tuesday, November 8, with a presentation on qualitative research and successful interviewing techniques. Guest Dr. R.V. Gundar presents Interviewing: Tips and Tricks of the Trade.

Dr. Gundar will discuss the principles of preparing, setting up, and conducting interviews. The workshop will also cover topics such as recruitment and data analysis.

This session will be an opportunity to bring projects in process or ideas to discuss.

The workshop will start at 4 PM at the FSU College of Criminology and Criminal Justice in the 4th-floor conference room (Room 409).

R.V. Gundur is a criminologist based in Australia. He studies illicit enterprise, gangs, and cybercrime. R.V. holds a Ph.D. in criminology from Cardiff University and degrees from the University of Oxford, the Australian National University, and Tulane University. He is published in several leading academic journals, including Crime, Law and Social Change; Deviant Behavior; Trends in Organized Crime; Urban Affairs Review; and Victims and Offenders. He serves on the board of Trends in Organized Crime; Crime, Law and Social Change; and the Journal of Criminology. His work has appeared in reports published by the European Union and the City of London Corporation.
