The Graduate-Faculty Workshop Series continues Friday, October 7 with an Introduction to Analyzing the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) with Assistant Professor Brendan Lantz.

Graduate Student Orientation for the fall semester is officially in the books. The orientation was held on Monday, August 15th, at the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. According to Professor Carter Hay, Director of the Graduate Program, it has been a while since orientation was held in the building.

On Saturday, June11, Alumni and Friends of Criminology held the 2022 Hall of Fame Celebratory Brunch at the Hotel Duval in downtown Tallahassee. Held annually since 2010, the event was not held in 2020 or 2021 due to the global pandemic. The Hall of Fame event recognizes, and honors distinguished alumni for numerous professional and personal achievements of its graduates. Hall of Fame inductees demonstrate outstanding professional accomplishments, have served the College, FSU, the community, and/or professional organization.

College of Criminology & Criminal Justice Dean Thomas G. Blomberg was a main presenter at this year’s Justice Research and Statistics (JRSA) Association Fall Criminal Justice Series. Dean Blomberg presented a session on translational criminology and politics.
