The purpose of the US2010 project was to use data from the decennial census, the American Community Survey, and other key sources to investigate the subtle shifts and long-term trends in American life and provide an analysis of what these developments may mean for the future. Over a two-year span, 14 research teams from universities across the United States released short research briefs and chapter-length reports on topics including immigration, segregation, economics, education, aging, and the changing American family.
