Professional Ethics

Professional ethics must be considered in all aspects of scientific research. It is important for students to be aware of the moral issues they will encounter and how they should deal with them in their research and in how they present findings and specialized knowledge to the public.

The Ph.D. program at Florida State University helps prepare students not simply to be successful researchers and teachers, but also to maintain the ethical standards that are central to our our field.
