College Institute Co-Director Brian M. Stephens appointed as Teneo Senior Managing Director

Brian M. Stephens, co-director of the College’s Policing, Security Technology, and Private Security Research and Policy Institute, was appointed by Teneo as a Senior Managing Director with its Security Risk Advisory business segment. Teneo is a global advisory firm that supports Fortune 500 clients with design and delivery of enterprise security strategy programs, including emergency preparedness and response and crisis communications. With his position at FSU and in his new role at Teneo, Mr. Stephens will bring an industry perspective to new research and entrepreneurial initiatives. 

The Policing, Security Technology, and Private Security Research and Policy Institute seeks to significantly contribute to evidence-based public and private safety policies and practices. The Institute partners with police, the private sector, and other agencies to conduct research and evaluation that informs policies and practices which engage the community, increase public safety, and secure government and private assets.
