The internship program gives students work experience that counts as academic credit. Interested criminology students are invited to the Internship Expo, Thursday, November 3rd from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Broad Auditorium, to learn about various internship opportunities for spring semester. Agencies represented at the fair include:
- Florida Public Defender’s Office
- The State Attorney’s Office
- Florida Department of Environmental Protection
- Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy
- Florida Department of Corrections
- Wakulla County Probation Office
- Florida Supreme Court
Also invited are FDLE, Tallahassee Secret Service, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, and more.
A Facebook page has been created for the event, and as agencies confirm, we will update the list on Facebook. Please feel free to come by and meet with the various agencies and learn more about internships!
Because this event is being held November 3rd, the internship application deadline is extended to November 4th. You will have an opportunity to apply for the Internship Program at the Expo, so bring a resume with you.
