Best College
FSU College of Criminology and Criminal Justice is the best college for criminal justice, according to University Magazine. The magazine released their 2023 Best Colleges for Criminal Justice rankings on May 29, with Florida State University taking the top spot. They base the rankings on several factors, including academic excellence, faculty expertise, student success rates, and the comprehensiveness of their criminal justice programs.

The College's master's in criminal justice studies remains among the nation's best, according to the U.S. News and World Report's 2023 Best Online Programs ranking. The College's online master's program jumped one spot to No. 5 nationally and placed No. 4 among public universities and No. 3 for veterans.

The College’s online master’s degree program remains among the nation’s best, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2022 rankings.  The College’s online master’s degree in criminal justice jumped two spots to No. 6 nationally and also placed No. 5 among public universities and No. 4 for veterans. 
Online Masters' in Criminal Justice #8 in the nation
The College of Criminology and Criminal Justice’s online graduate program remains among the top 10 best programs in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 Best Online Programs ranking. The College’s online master’s degree in criminal justice retained its respective spots at No. 8 nationally and No. 6 among public universities. For veterans, the online program checked in at No. 5.

2020 Best Online Colleges for Value
The College of Criminology & Criminal Justice was recently honored with two top ten rankings for its online bachelor’s degree. The College’s online bachelor’s degree was ranked No. 5 among Best Online Bachelor’s Criminology Degrees and No. 7 among Best Online Bachelor’s Law Enforcement Degrees for value by Guide to Online Schools.
